POSI-STOP BLOCK LIMIT
CONTROL SYSTEM
The POSI-STOP System is to be used ONLY for SECONDARY BACKUP control and protection while moving the block. The OPERATOR has PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY for BLOCK CONTROL AND SAFETY USING THE MANUAL BRAKE CONTROLS LOCATED AT THE DRILLER’S STATION. The POSI-STOP will only provide secondary backup control if the system is in the correct operational mode, calibrated, and operated according to manufacturer’s specifications. It is the OPERATOR’S FULL RESPONSIBILITY to test and assure that the system is operating correctly before it is used. The operator must discontinue the use of the system, if found to be not functioning correctly.
