CONTROL/DISPLAY CONSOLE
The Control/Display
console incorporates both graphic and digital displays that precisely
indicate block position. The Operator is provided with an easy and effective
means to set the lower and upper limits and also bypass the limits. The
Limits are set by moving the blocks to the lower limit, turning the selector
switch to SET, moving the blocks to the upper limit and turning the selector
switch to RUN. This limit setting procedure requires minimum time when
the rig is set up or when the drill line is slipped and cut.
Pressing the BYPASS switch allows the Operator to move the blocks beyond the limits. The system automatically resets when the blocks move back within the limits. The Posi-Stop eliminates the risk associated with failure to reset bypass switches on mechanical systems and provides a more reliable, durable and safer means of crown and floor protection.
The The Posi-Stop is a cost competitive and more effective alternative to both toggle switch and other crown and floor protection mechanical or electronic systems.
